Local Area – Beaches

Rumours House and Cymyran Cottage provide easy access to the village of Saundersfoot, the nearby town of Tenby and the Pembrokeshire Coastal National park. With more Blue Flag or Seaside Award beaches than any other  county in Britain there is a wealth of choice, but we have a few nearby favourites that we think you’ll enjoy.

Coppet Hall

Great for windsurfers and kitesurfers, there are a few clusters of rocks to look out for which are submerged at high tide. Parking is available at Coppet Hall and nearby Saundersfoot offers all the amenities you could want.

A large, south east facing beach of golden sand, Saundersfoot beach is one of the most popular stretches of coastline in Pembrokeshire. Bathing is safe and Saundersfoot is very popular with families.

Close to Saundersfoot, Tenby is Pembrokeshire’s main holiday resort. Four beaches can be found here – North Beach, Harbour Beach, Castle Beach and South Beach. All are beautifully clean and very popular, with wonderful features like Goscar rock (on North beach), and breathtaking views to Caldy Island (from South beach).

South beach, although larger than North beach, is much quieter and more exposed, offering better windsurfing and kite surfing conditions.
